FREE SHOW for Irvin Mayfield 31st Bday with The Roots
Irvin Mayfield will throw a fantastic birthday party celebrating his 31st birthday with a free show by The Roots, Kermit Ruffins, Rebirth Brass Band, Amanda Shaw and more. The event will take place at the main library on December 20th. All you need is a New Orleans public library card and a free ticket that you can pick up at any New Orleans Public Library between December 12th and 19th for admission. Read all about it HERE.

Wish I could be there for that. I was lucky to be in town last week to catch Irvin at Snug Harbor running through Christmas classics. The show concluded with a second-line medley that included spontaneous boogie-ing down by none other than Wendell Pierce! Good times, bon temps.
