Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp Gala

Please join us at the Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp Gala on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Rosy's Jazz Hall.  Starts 7pm.  Ticket includes food and music.  Purchase tickets at the door.

Music by artists-in-residence, latin jazz percussionists Candido Camero and Bobby Sanabria plus the distinguished faculty of the camp.  

Did you know that Candido Camero performed with Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie and Tony Bennett (along with many, many others).  He is a living legend and only performed one time in New Orleans (at the Blue Room with Tony Bennett in 1954).
